Global Basketball Community is a basketball development community hosted on Skool and led by former Chicago Bulls lottery pick and 8-year NBA veteran Tyrus Thomas. A standout at Louisiana State University and graduate of the NBA Assistant Coaches Program (2022), Coach Tyrus combines professional playing, coaching, and leadership experience to help athletes, parents, coaches, and trainers grow on and off the court.
Global Basketball Community is built around three core sectors: The Locker Room for players, The Coaches' Office for coaches and trainers, and The Family Section for parents navigating the basketball journey. Members receive weekly live sessions, short-form teaching content, discussions, and practical resources focused on development, culture, recruiting, leadership, and communication.
Global Basketball Community also offers consultations, player development services, camps, clinics, mentorship, and program support designed to help build disciplined athletes, stronger programs, and healthier basketball environments.

The Global Basketball Community is built around alignment, accountability, and real development. We believe players, parents, coaches, and trainers grow best when everyone works from the same playbook. Through dedicated spaces, weekly content, discussions, live sessions, and mentorship, GBC provides practical guidance for every stage of the basketball journey. This is more than basketball content — it’s a development-driven community focused on building stronger habits, healthier cultures, and long-term growth on and off the court.

Stay updated with important community news, weekly schedules, live session links, upcoming camps, clinics, challenges, and new resources. This is the main hub for official GBC updates and everything you need to stay connected and informed.

The heartbeat of the community. Celebrate wins, ask questions, share experiences, network, and engage with players, parents, coaches, and trainers, all working to grow the right way through basketball and development.

Access weekly teaching content, development lessons, leadership discussions, recruiting education, and practical breakdowns designed to help members learn, apply, and grow both on and off the court.

A space built for athletes focused on development, discipline, recruiting, confidence, leadership, and building habits that translate beyond basketball. Learn what coaches notice and what separates serious players from spectators.

For coaches and trainers looking to strengthen culture, communication, leadership, fundraising, and player development while building sustainable programs that serve athletes and families the right way.

A space for parents to better understand development, recruiting, trainers, coaches, and the realities of the basketball journey while learning how to support their athlete with clarity, confidence, and structure.
Global Basketball Community was built to give players, parents, coaches, and trainers real guidance, real conversations, and real development in a basketball world full of noise, pressure, and confusion.
